Come On, Get App-y

Turn your workout up a notch with these fitness apps - you won't be disappointed:

  • Daily Yoga: When you want to get in a quick yoga session — a great de-stresser for weary travelers — this app has tons of classes to choose from, with both audio and visual cues.
  • Strava: Track your runs, rides, and hikes, and then for all you competitive types out there, compare your performance on a specific section of a road or trail to other athletes who’ve done the same route.
  • Sworkit: For those times when you wish you had a personal trainer in your pocket, Sworkit delivers workouts based on what body parts you want to work and how much time you have, complete with video instruction.
  • Yonder: When you land in a new place, hit the local adventure activities running with Yonder, which curates outdoor adventures recommended by those who’ve been there in their Gore-Tex before you.
  • Zombies, Run!: Sometimes it can be tough to work up the motivation to exercise when you’re on the road. But when you need to get to one of humanity’s last remaining outposts while gathering supplies and rescuing survivors along the way? Well, that kind of incentive will make it a whole lot easier to roll out of bed for a run.

The Right Path

Hit the pavement! Minneapolis offers many scenic routes close to the hotel. Looking to switch up your jogging routine? Be sure to stop by the Front Desk to borrow one of our complimentary PUBLIC bikes.
